Le patch est optiquement transparent, ce qui permet aux chercheurs d&rsquo;utiliser \u00e9galement la lumi\u00e8re pour surveiller et stimuler le c\u0153ur. Des robots chirurgicaux mous aux d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de distribution de m\u00e9dicaments implantables, les opportunit\u00e9s sont infinies.  Cette derni\u00e8re recherche pr\u00e9sente une technologie de stimulation souple et flexible qui peut \u00eatre fix\u00e9e directement \u00e0 la surface du c\u0153ur, contournant une limitation majeure des stimulateurs cardiaques rigides.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;un des d\u00e9fis des stimulateurs cardiaques et des d\u00e9fibrillateurs actuels est qu&rsquo;ils sont difficiles \u00e0 fixer \u00e0 la surface du c\u0153ur\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Igor Efimov, l&rsquo;un des cr\u00e9ateurs de la nouvelle technologie.  \u00abLes \u00e9lectrodes de d\u00e9fibrillateur, par exemple, sont essentiellement des bobines constitu\u00e9es de fils tr\u00e8s \u00e9pais.  Ces fils ne sont pas flexibles et ils cassent.  Les interfaces rigides avec les tissus mous, comme le c\u0153ur, peuvent entra\u00eener diverses complications.  En revanche, notre appareil souple et flexible est non seulement discret, mais s&rsquo;adapte \u00e9galement intimement et de mani\u00e8re transparente directement sur le c\u0153ur pour fournir des mesures plus pr\u00e9cises.<!-- ASYNC UAT M - 300x250(t,r) - --><\/p>\n<p><!-- END ASYNC UAT M - 300x250(t,r) --><\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont choisi d&rsquo;utiliser du graph\u00e8ne pour leur stimulateur cardiaque flexible car il est solide et l\u00e9ger, tout en offrant une conductivit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique et une biocompatibilit\u00e9.  \u00ab\u00a0Pour des raisons de biocompatibilit\u00e9, le graph\u00e8ne est particuli\u00e8rement attractif\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Efimov.  \u00ab Le carbone est la base de la vie, c&rsquo;est donc un mat\u00e9riau s\u00fbr qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 dans diff\u00e9rentes applications cliniques.  Il est \u00e9galement flexible et doux, ce qui fonctionne bien comme interface entre l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique et un organe doux et m\u00e9caniquement actif.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;appareil est \u00e9galement optiquement transparent, ce qui permet aux chercheurs d&rsquo;utiliser une source de lumi\u00e8re externe pour \u00e9clairer la surface du c\u0153ur \u00e0 travers le patch.
